He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smith and Bonnie Smith (Atkins); and his siblings, Ronald, Gary Smith, Dianne Walker and Nancy Vance.
He is survived by: his friend Church; his wife Brenda Smith (Storer); his nieces and nephews, Shannon Thery (Jimmy), Amanda Pierson (Chad), Tyler DeHass (Samantha), Hannah Ludwig (Cole), Kyle Storer (Sarah), Heather Short (Ethan), Clayton Hardy, Carol Hardy, Savannah Sutter, Taylor Sutter, Miranda Wells (Max) and Stephanie Brown (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Brad Storer (Diana), Janet Smith and Beverly Hardy.
