It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Tye (Hillsboro, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Tye to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis List and Helen List (Shelby); her husband Gene Tye; her daughter Julie Stricker; and her siblings, Francis "Sonny" List, Thomas List and Alice Brumbaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Tye of Hillsboro, OH and Stephen; her children-in-law, Joan Tye of Sumter, SC and Jerry Stricker of Centerville, OH; and her nieces, Kimberly Riley and Ann List of Union, OH. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
