He is survived by: his father Walter Junior Deaton of Florida; his children, Megan Nichole Deaton and Nicholas Lane Deaton of Gig Harbor, Washington; and his sibling's children, Robert "Scotty" Deaton, Jr. (Dena) of Lucasville and Juanitamae Dawn Straight of Waverly.
