He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Wilson and Inez Wilson (Whitley); his wife Mitzi Wilson (Fenton); and his siblings, Early, Donald Wilson, Janer Hibberd, Shirley Peters and Joyce King.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Metzger (Jeff) and Mark Wilson (Alice); his siblings, Larry Wilson (Shirley), Curtis Wilson (Cinda), John Wilson (Sharon) and Shari Silva (Earl); his grandchildren, Jake Wilson (Laura), Brandon Wilson (Kelly), Erin Conn (Jeremy), Dr. Adam Metzger (Tara) and Joshua Metzger (Lori); his great grandchildren, Kate Conn, James Conn, Matthew Conn, Clayton Conn, Lillie Metzger, Ellie Metzger, Jacob Brehm, Aiden Brehm, Silas Wilson, Barrett Willson, Ronin Wilson and Ambrose Wilson; and his brother-in-law Pat King.
