He was predeceased by: his parents, Myley Powell and Mary A. Barber (Foster); his wife Bonnie Jena Powell (Childers); his brother Myley Powell Jr.; and his son Brent Wayne Powell Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Michael Stephen Powell (Jodi) of Florida, Tina Dubiel (John) of West Portsmouth, Hope King (Mike) of Florida, Kara Bond (Shane) of Wheelersburg and Sheri Pelphrey (Doug) of Stout. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turner & Son Funeral Home (602 N High St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (7869 Surber Ln, Hillsboro, OH 45133).
