He was predeceased by : his former life partner Anna Spilker; his parents, John and Arnette Spilker (Binne); and his siblings, Freddie, Donald, Jack, Ray Eick, Carol Rensing and Janice Castle.
He is survived by : his friend Darlene Ford; his wife Mary Kethler of Sardinia; his children, Richard Spilker (Bonnie) of North Carolina, Catherine Shupe (Dan) of Milford, Jackie Hopkins (Chris) of Hillsboro and Leanna Mullenix (Matt) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Trisha Banholzer (Bobby), Charles Sauer, Tiffany Blankenship (R. J.), Eric Mullenix (Becca Hughes), Brittney Spilker, Zacharyah Shupe and Kristy Rhodes (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Margaret, Jack, Randee and Gracelyn; his siblings, Mel Eick (Linda) of Rhode Island, Pat Eick (Setsuko) of Cincinnati and Judith Rives (Michael) of Cincinnati; and also, Jeremy Day, Nathan Cooper, Willow, Harlow and Diamond.
