He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Faris and Mary Frances Faris. He is survived by: his brother Thomas B. (Marian Gillam Faris) of Springfield; his niece Kristi Fickert (Ron); his great-nephews, Cole and Chase Fickert; his nephew Matthew Faris (Amy); his great-niece Margaret; his stepniece Ellie Bonner; his nephews, Fallon, Dillinger and Atticus Bonner; and his stepnephew Jeff Gochenour (Courtney).
