He was predeceased by : his parents, Joel Goins and Ardel Goins (Reynolds); and his daughter Christa Lee Bauer. He is survived by : his wife Alice Sue Tabor Goins; his children, Ericka Lynn Scott (Keith) of Hillsboro and Anna Marie Waits (Jayson) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Mayson Waits (Heavin), Hannah Bauer, Kristen Burchett (Mason), Kalie Scott, Sydney Waits (Charlie Sparks), Makenzie Scott (Daniel Newberry), Leah Bauer, Daniel Bauer, Haiden Scott, Klayton Waits and Keira Scott; his great grandchildren, Parker, Westin, Kayson, Paisley, Adalynn, Brooklynn and McKena; his son-in-law Thomas Bauer of Dayton; his niece Nicole Hamilton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert and Jayden; and his children, Jamie, Melissa and Kerri. He is also survived by several siblings and many more nieces, nephews, and friends.
