With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Valentino DeRenzis (Hinckley, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 90. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Angela; his children, Teresa Zappitelli (Pierino), Rocco DeRenzis (Dori) and Anthony DeRenzis (Davette); and his grandchildren, Michael Zappitelli (Nina), Nicholas Zappitelli, Angela Zappitelli (Kevin), Nichole Gruttadauria (Jake), Rachele Morchak (Doug), Dayna DeRenzis (Donald), Stefanie DeRenzis (Adrian), Joseph DeRenzis (Abby), Dominic, Ava, Gabriella, Liam, Rocco, Gracelyn, Hadley, Elijah, Mia, Lola, Anthony, Remy, Vinnie and Liliana. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Cleveland, OH 44130). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (750 State Rd, Hinckley, OH 44233). A committal service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142). An entombment was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the same location.
