He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Woodring and Raleigh Woodring; his wife Joan Frances; his brother Gale Woodring (Woody); and his daughter-in-law Cathy Frances.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Frances, Matt Frances, David Frances and Kathy Trilli (Claudio). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends.
