Chad Giesige Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 50, Chad Giesige (Holgate, Ohio) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chad Giesige to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Bill Giesige. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Giesige (Schuller); his siblings, Rob Giesige (Karen), Angie Kromenacker (Steve) and Annette May (Aaron); his nieces and nephews, Tyler (Jane), Spencer, Kyle (Kennedy), Paige and Cadence; and his great-niece Nora.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calendar Zachrich Funeral Home (114 Williams St, Holgate, OH 43527). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Sacred Heart Catholic Church (13779 Co Rd Y, New Bavaria, OH 43548).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cleveland Fisher House (greaterclevelandfisherhouse.org) that provided a place for the family to stay during Chad's hospitalizations over the years or the New Bavaria VFW Post 8847 that has always shown its support for Chad and his sacrifice given for his country.
