Herbert E. Fruth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert E. Fruth of Holgate, Ohio, who passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Fruth and Catherine Fruth (Agler) of Napoleon; his wife Arlene Joyce Hire; and his sisters, Evelyn Brubaker, Marjorie Savage and Marcella Brink.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Fruth (Jane) and Sandy Fruth (Amy Ingram); his grandchildren, Emily Fruth, Katie and Jake Ingram; and his stepgranddaughter Caitlin Armstrong (Brad). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be considered to St. John's UCC Shalom Food Pantry or the Henry County Senior Center Meals on Wheels Nutrition Program. Keep Herbert's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
