He is survived by: his parents, Debra Clement and Thomas Gerschutz; his siblings, Joshua Gerschutz (Nichole), Garrett Gerschutz (Stephanie), Mariah Black (Alex), Cheyenne Gerschutz (Dustin Scott) and Rusty Ault (Bionca); and his nieces and nephews, Aiden, Amelia, Zeke, Lily, Zoey, Quinn, Wade, Aubrey and Frank. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zachrich Family Funeral Home (114 Williams St, Holgate, OH 43527). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions can be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
