He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jerry Waisner (Joan) and Janet Tilse (Delmar); his children, Kevin Waisner (Beth), Scott Waisner (Vicki), Mark Waisner (Tia) and Diana Evers (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Colin Waisner (Emily), Denton Waisner (Wendy), Adrienne Waisner, Reed Waisner (Renee), Cody Bronson (Paige), Michael Waisner (Alyssa), Jennifer Waisner, Clay Waisner (Jessica), Jason Waisner, Nicholas Evers and Neveah Evers.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar St. John's United Church of Christ (946 OH-108, Holgate, OH 43527).
