He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Keil Sr. and Anges Keil (Schmitz); his wife Joann M. Wagner of Michael's Catholic Church; his sisters, Rose Marie Keil, Kay Gray and Ginny Labordee; and also Joe Keil, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Sniadecki (Jerry) of Montpelier, Susan Custer (Kyle) of Bryan, Denise Miller (Dennis) of Fayette, Ronald G. Keil (Kristie) of Holiday City and Kris Dulle (Doug) of Edon; his grandchildren, Kyle Caudill (Jason), Joseph Keil (Lauren Kennedy), Megan Gearhart (Keith), Morgan Hulbert (Cody), Tyler Miller, Jacob, Jenna and Logan Dulle; and his brothers, Cliff, Tom Keil and Jerry Keil (Carol). He is also survived by six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
