He was predeceased by: his father John Vincent Grogan Sr.; his brother John Grogan; and his wife Fannie Grogan. He is survived by: his mother Marquerite Lons (Armentrout); his siblings, Tommy Knight, Forrest Russel and Joyce Daugherty; his stepchildren, Tom Cooper and Janet Cooper Roberts; and his grandchildren, Joseph Cooper, Leslie Dye and Philip Dye. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
