He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph E. Christy and Margaret Morgan Christy; and his wife Doris Baker Christy. He is survived by : his daughter Carla Barnhart of Benton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Corey Barnhart (Kacey) and Lindsay White (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Korinne, Parker, Fynlee and Oliver; his sister Beulah Burghy; his siblings-in-law, Irene Christy and Rex Morgan; his friend Joe Carter; his son-in-law Randy Barnhart; and his siblings, Harry, Walter, Raymond, Joseph, Jr., Ralph, Merritt, John, Arthur, Lawrence Christy, Nina Pickenpaugh, Mable Ault, Edna Christy, Wilda Christy and Meredith Christy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
