He was predeceased by: his parents, Addison E. Gillis and Elva G. Glady Gillis; and his siblings, Earnest, Roscoe, Arthur Gillis and Rebecca McCauley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Cochran (Robert) of Lake Milton and Amy Gillis of Austintown; his siblings, Gerald Gillis (Geraldine) of Philippi, WV and Delores Fluharty of Des Moines, IA; and his close friend Judy Minner. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
