He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Sr. Phibbs and JoAnn Pennock Phibbs; his brothers, Bobby, Dennis, David and Paul Phibbs; and his brother-in-law Richard Ebert.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Schrader; his children, Daniel Phibbs Jr. (Sarah) of Hubbard, Joshua Phibbs (Amanda) of Masury, Heather Phibbs of Peoria, AZ, Jenny Phibbs of Hubbard and Cassandra Phibbs of Hubbard; and his siblings, Bruce Phibbs (Lori) of Gibsonia, PA, Robin Ebert (Dale) of Austintown and Cathy Ebert of Austintown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
