He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Bird and Judith A. Bird (Minnaugh); his in-laws, Norbert and Louise Stefanak; and his stepgrandson Brayden Barris.
He is survived by: his wife DeAnna Bird (Stefanak); his stepsons, Jerald "Jay" A. Barris (Jennifer) and Tyler J. Barris (Mary); his stepgrandchildren, Hunter of West Middlesex, Isabella of West Middlesex and Lillian Barris of West Middlesex; his siblings, Matthew Bird (Lesa) of Gettysburg, PA, Charles Bird (Mary Jo) of Louisville, KY, Mary M. Bird of Akron, OH and Frederick Bird (Nancy) of Erie, PA.; and his siblings-in-law, Debora L. Woge (Richard) of West Middlesex, Denise L. Burger (Warden) of West Middlesex, Darlene Hoffman (Kevin) of West Middlesex, Dana L. Adams (Ronald) of West Middlesex, Donald P. Stefanak (Cyndi) of Pulaski and Dennis Stefanak (Karen) of Pulaski. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
