Joe Wittenauer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Wittenauer of Hubbard, Ohio, who passed away on January 22, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Joe shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joe farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent William and Catherine Veronica Walsh Wittenauer; his siblings, Bernice Harnishfeger, Jr. (Byron) and William Wittenauer (Mary Jo); and his nephews, Karl Harnishfeger and Byron Harnishfeger III.

He is survived by: his nieces, Denise Harnishfeger Sedgwick, Phyllis Manning (Michael), Agnes Schauer (Jeffrey) and Mary Kay Bulmer (Dean); and his nephew John Wittenauer (Michele).
