He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorotha Trout and Chalmer Trout; his sister Patty Hoffman; his granddaughter Christina Shanefelt; and his son-in-law Fred Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Smith; his daughters, Pam Smith and Melissa Drew; his grandson Dustin Patrick; and his sisters, Wanda Shibley and Judith Henry. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
