She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenna Richey and Byron Richey; her daughter Kimberly Demeter Hinely (Fred Hinely); her brothers, David Richey and Myron Richey; her siblings-in-law, Patty Richey and George Miller; and her nieces, Dawn Miller and Janie Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen Demeter of Pensacola, FL, George Demeter (Lisa) of Beavercreek, OH and Lisa Demeter of Huber Heights, OH.; her sister Carroll Miller; her grandchildren, Derek Demeter, Daniel Demeter, Amanda Roberts and Seth Demeter; and her pet Lucy.
