It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Uzzel of Huber Heights, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Angelo Lapenna; her husband Emory Gatlin Uzzel; and her siblings, Joseph Lapenna, Phyllis McDorman and Frank Lapenna.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Uzzel (Molly Swift), Rodney Uzzel (Cindy) and Greg Uzzel (Ann); her grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Andrea, Nathan, Megan and Brandon; and her nephew Mike McDorman.
