With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jack Helmick Brookhart (Hudson, Ohio), born in Chanute, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jack left this world on January 10, 2026 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, John and Elizabeth Jane. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sister Barbara; his children, Josh and Melissa; his children-in-law, Cleo and Steven; and his grandchildren, Lia, Max, Arial, Ian, Matilda and Gabriel (John Deere). He is also survived by his children and their friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (21 Aurora St, Hudson, OH 44236).

In lieu of flowers or donations (although we wholeheartedly support the efforts of the wonderful people at Vitalia Stow Memory Care and Traditions Hospice Care), please shake the hand of someone with whom you disagree, ask someone you love how they are, and join us to celebrate the life of Jack Brookhart at Christ Church Episcopal, 21 Aurora St., Hudson on Saturday, February 14, at 11:00AM.
