He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mary Brunson Smith and Maxwell Romaine Smith; his wife Linda Settle Smith; his daughter Jennifer Asbury; his son-in-law Scott Asbury; his granddaughter Audrey Asbury of Niwot; his brother George Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Leslie Ireland of Vienna, Gary Settle and Connie Settle of Ponte Vedra. He was also cherished by nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews, cousins.
