He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Giffen and William Martin Giffen Sr.; and his sister Martha Wright Moon. He is survived by: his wife Janet Diane Giffen; his children, Diane Giffen, William Giffen III and Laura Giffen; and his granddaughter Dana Morgan Giffen.
