He was predeceased by : his brother James McCord. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen; his children, Melissa McCord (Eric Andersen) and Matthew McCord; his grandson Colton McCord; his siblings, Katherine Gathman (Rick), Ruth Blanas (Jim) and Walter McCord (Brenda); and his pet Sophie Sue McCord.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Bill's name to the Humane Society of Summit County (http://www.summithumane.org).
