We bid farewell to Herbert A. McPherson of Huntsville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2025 at the age of 68. Herbert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman E. McPherson and Vernice W. McPherson (Hurley); and his siblings, Janice Carol McPherson, Robert "Bob" McPherson, James "Jim" McPherson (Judy) and John McPherson (Jeannie).
He is survived by: his spouse Tracy McPherson (Shelly); his children, Leah and Lance; his siblings, Karen Weidenhamer (Brad), Phillip "Mike" McPherson (Shirley T.), Phyllis Jerviss (Larry), Jean Schultz (John), Ev Hurley (Jim) and Marcia Stoffer (Dale); his siblings-in-law, Pat Shelly (Mary), Mike Shelly, Russell Perdue (Catherine), Shirley S. McPherson and Erin Shelly; and his close friend Dave Tanger. He is also survived by 95 nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gretna Brethren Church (1564 Township Rd 46, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Huntsville Cemetery (3691 County Rd 37, Huntsville, OH 43324).
