She was predeceased by: her former husband Marion C. Coomer; her husband Gilbert Ward; her parents, George Linkous and Sadie Linkous; her siblings, Jearldine Carter, Arnold "Butch" Linkous and Dan Linkous; and her nephews, Davey Linkous, Wayne Browning and Tony Jarrells.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffery Allen Coomer (Toni) of Sylvania and Paul Ward of Huron, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kyle Coomer, Mallory Velkova (Olga), Marsy Fox and Lea Fox; and her siblings, Joyce Blevins (Vinnie) of Virginia, Linda Fain of Virginia, Tim Linkous (Karen) of Virginia and Lois Jarrells of Virginia. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
