He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Henry "Red" and Marie A. Ulmer, Sr. (Kraus); and his former wife Ella D. "Doris" Ulmer (Hibbard). He is survived by: his wife Kay Ulmer (Sidoti); his children, David J. Ulmer (Sharon) of Sandusky, Daniel W. Ulmer (Robin Creswick) of Medina and Denise M. Bellamy (Richard, Jr.) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Kyle (Jackie), Kody Bellamy (Tracey), Christopher, Courtney, Alex (Claire), Jacob, Colin and Paxton Ulmer; his great grandchildren, Zane Bellamy, Charles "Charlie" Bellamy, Annie Ulmer and Lawson Bellamy; his stepdaughter Kelli Contreras (Gus); his stepgrandchildren, Olivia Sidoti, Jordan Leser (Clay) and Rylee Allison; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ace and Axl Thompson; his half-sister Connie Porter of Sandusky; his brother Walter H. "Walt" Ulmer, Jr.; and his stepmother Vera L. Ulmer (Cook). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
