He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Hartnett (Jeff), Patricia Hopkins (Ron) and Christopher Walcott (Judy); his grandchildren, Collin Scheid (Emily), Allison Caudill (Tyler), Ann Walcott and Samantha Walcott; his great grandchildren, Harper, Cooper Scheid, Beckley and Brooks Caudill; and his close friend Ramona Roberts.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Sandusky Sailing Club Junior Sailors program, continuing Fred's enduring legacy of sharing his love of sailing with future generations.
