He is survived by: his children, Cindy Carruthers (Howard) of Huron and Mike Sheard (Willa) of Helena, Montana; his grandchildren, Aaron Carruthers of Huron, Adam Carruthers (Nkemjika) of Rockville, Katie Sheard of Helena and Stacie Adams (Matt) of Helena, Montana; and his great grandchildren, Trevor Hernandez, Ifeanyi Carruthers, Landon and Lucas Adams.
