Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scott III and Leah Scott (House); and his stepchildren, Jane Bettcher and Lane Bettcher. He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Lamvermeyer); and his stepchildren, Hallie Pettegrew (Ed) and Jeff Temple (Patricia). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Birmingham Methodist Church (15018 South St, Wakeman, OH 44889). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
