He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Minton and Lottie Minton (Dingus); and his siblings, Aaron, Bobby, Jimmy Minton, Valice Blevins (Dingus), Mary Foster (Minton), Betty Hodges (Minton), Ann Wallace (Minton), Rita Mitchell (Minton) and Lena Mae Minton.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Johnson (Craig) of Huron, Diana Ross (Mike) of Sandusky and Joshua Minton of Columbus; his grandsons, Nicholas Johnson (Shelby), Austin Johnson (Julia), Kole Minton and Cole LaMarca; his great grandchildren, Addison and Audrey; his sisters, Maxie Laney (Mallard) and Nancy Jane Crawford (R. L.); his close friends, Richard and Dana Majoy; and his niece Skylar Boles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foster Funeral Home & Crematory (410 Main St, Huron, OH 44839). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the TBD Meadow Green Cemetery (2602 Bogart Rd, Huron, OH 44839).
