As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Roy and Barbara Jo Ferguson (Mattingly); and her sister Cynthia Ann Ferguson. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph D. Baker II; her children, Dr. Emily S. Eckdahl (Zach) of Brookfield, WI and Dr. Joseph Ferguson Baker of Las Vegas, NV; and her grandchildren, Scarlett and Peyton Eckdahl. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meadow Green Memorial Park (2602 Bogart Rd, Huron, OH 44839). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
