He was predeceased by: his parents, Bassel Johnson and Genevieve Johnson; his wife Carolyn Johnson; his daughter Lynell Johnson; his brother Schuyler Johnson; and his sister-in-law Bea Kloss.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Armstrong; his children, Christopher Johnson and Rebecca Johnson-Wade; his grandchildren, Kristian Welch (Melanie), Brendon Cranmer (Sarah), Brodey Johnson and Gage Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Raven Cranmer and Allana Welch; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Kloss and Lou Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Sandusky Campus (4444 Galloway Rd, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the The Chapel. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at the Scott Cemetery (9110 Huron Avery Rd, Huron, OH 44839).
Memorial contributions may be made in Lowell's memory to the Huron Rescue Squad Fund or Reserve Care (formerly Stein Hospice).
