She was predeceased by: her parent Agnes Edwards; her sister-in-law Marcella Edwards; and her nephew Michael Edwards, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, John Ruf (Karen), Curt Ruf (Jennifer) and Cathy Koger (Ivy); her grandchildren, Alexander Ruf, Nicholas Ruf (Daniela), Katie Ruf (Josh Reeves), Harrison Ruf, Christian Fitch, Avery Koger and Pearl Koger; her brother Michael Edwards, Sr.; her nephews, Thomas Edwards (Ann) and Donald Edwards (Amber); and her friends, Sharon, Alice, Larry, Candy and Diane. She is also survived by her family, friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Home of Curt Ruf.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lyn's honor to the Huron Public Library, Huron, Ohio.
