We bid farewell to Rita Moscioni of Huron, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 26, 2025 at the age of 80. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexius U. Steinberger and Bernadette Steinberger (Poorman); her siblings, Bill, Don and Mary Louise Steinberger; and her daughter Julia Moscioni.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Moscioni; her children, Christina Marksbury (Timothy), Daniel Moscioni (Renee) and Sandi Passek (Jason); her grandchildren, Nicholas Marksbury, Emily Moscioni (Blaine MacFarland), Justin Moscioni, Maria Moscioni, Olivia Rominski (Nathaniel), Jenna Passek and Luke Passek; her great grandchildren, Giovanni and Mason; and her siblings, Carl Steinberger (Linda), Betty Obringer (Bill), Irene Ball (Don), Tom Steinberger (Debbie), Jim Steinberger (Maureen), Ed Steinberger (Rita), Aggie Mackey (Jeff), Joe Steinberger (Cathy) and Bob Steinberger (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huron City Schools – Student Lunch Fund, which provides meals for students in need.
