She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Jelinek and Libbie Jelinek (Hauner); and her husband William L. Friend. She is survived by: her children, Steven Friend (Chrissy) and Leslie Friend; her grandchildren, Asher, Reagan, Caleb, Isaac and Elliott; and her sisters, Janet Horwath (late Larry) and Laura Veverka (Kenny).
