Christine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Christine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Anita Medvin (Larry) and Brad Gothard; her grandchildren, Matthew and Libby Fickel (Brent); and her sister Barbara Maddamma (Bob).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery (4700 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109-4620).
