He was predeceased by : his wife Patricia K. Waid; his son Anthony Waid; his grandchild Baby Ronnie Waid; his parents, Leverette Waid and Elizabeth Waid; and his siblings, Earl Waid, Roberta Outz (Ronald), Nancy Reeves (Jimmy) and Dale Waid.

He is survived by : his son Ronald Waid; his grandchild Bronson Waid; and his sibling Lurlie DeGeronimo (Vic).

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Michael Catholic Church (6912 Chestnut Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at the Maple Shade Cemetery.
