She is survived by: her husband Jerry Gaertner; her children, Elizabeth Floyd, James Gaertner and Ruth Gaertner; her grandchildren, Hannah Floyd (Zak Faircloth) and Yasmina Morrison (Scott); her brother-in-law Carl Jude; her sisters, Judith Ann Jude and Helen Gullion; her brother-in-law Ed Gullion; and her son-in-law Stacey Floyd. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doris's memory to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
