With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy A Szubski of Independence, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Szubski; and her brothers, Ronald Szustak (Delores Schaffer) and John R. Szustak (Jacqueline). She is survived by: her children, Grace, David (Kathy) and Diane Duryea (Phillip); her grandchildren, Maria Szubski, Ryan Murphy (Abby Nenna), Kathleen Murphy (Steven Richmond), Rachael Rose (Paxton), Luke Duryea (Tiahna), Kelly Smith (Mike), Sarah Roche and Sean Roche (Sarah); her great grandchild Benjamin; and her siblings-in-law, Kay Brysacz (John), Alice Gutkowski (Theodore) and Eugene Smolinski (Edward). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
