He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Galaska; and his parents, Walter and Irene. He is survived by: his children, Edward J. (Louisa), Kathleen Novak-Larson, Susan Klein (Terence), Michelle Tischer (Russell), Christine Badzinski (John) and Lisa Toplovich (Bill); his grandchildren, Larry, Russell, John, Alex, Eddie, Shannon, Terry, Julia, Matthew, Michael, Gwyneth, Tess and Christopher; and his siblings, Eleanor, Leonard and Dorothy.
If giving to a charity is preferred to flowers, family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
