With solemn reverence, we commemorate Elaine A. Krych of Independence, Ohio, whose life came to an end on December 9, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Elaine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elaine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; and her brothers, Chuck and Ronald Blatnik. She is survived by: her children, Karen King (late Dennis), Lynette Krych and Bryan Krych (Ann Marie); and her grandchildren, Brendan and Kirsten.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Parish (7367 York Rd, Parma, OH 44130). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (480 W Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067).
