He was predeceased by: his father Richard J. Balog; and his son Derek. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kenik; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Stricker and Christina Freund (Schad Dalton); his mother Jeanette Kurka (late Raymond); his siblings, Gary, Donald (Coreen), David (Linda) and Susan Zingalie (Carl); his parent-in-law Estelita Kenik (late Joseph); his nieces and nephews, Sean (Nicole), Nicolas, Conor, Cecilia Suszko, Kiana Gavin (Craig), Vincent Jones, Madeline Jones and Jasmin Kenik; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Kenik (Kozue), Ann Jones (Geoff) and David Kenik (Kelli); his children, Tardis, Bean, Loki and Thor; and his close friends, Amanda Balog and Craig Campfield.
A reception was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131).
