He was predeceased by: his parents, Dube Cahal and Lizzie Cahal (Kinkade); his wife Ruth Cahal (Deike); his son Doug; and his siblings, Rice, Robert, Donald, Glenn and Collis Cahal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Koschmann (Andy) and Karen Cahal; and his grandchildren, Mark Koschmann (Kara), Jim Koschmann (Amanda) and Kennedy Cahal. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
