He was predeceased by: his son Rusty Dye; his parents, James and Beulah; and his siblings, Sharon Fields (Tellis) and Parris Lawson (Gail).
He is survived by: his son Tony Reel; and his sister Wanda Lawson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (8592 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087).
