It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Korenowsky (Independence, Ohio), who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Korenowsky to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirlee Korenowsky; his parents, Andrew Korenowsky and Kathryn Randazzo; and his sister Patricia "Patti" Wilkin (late Jim Wilkin). He is survived by: his children, Rebekah Kathryn Korenowsky Woods and James "Jimmy" Korenowsky Jr.; and his siblings, John Korenowsky (Kathy), Mary Kay Goddard and Robert "Bobby" Korenowsky. He is also survived by uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Vodrazka Funeral Home (6505 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44133). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Cornerstone of Hope or a local wildlife or nature preservation organization in his honor.
